William Arfer Johnson
My Buddy, My Roomie, My Ball-And-Chain!
I took Bill in from the local pound in April, 1999, as a "2-3 year-old".
A Welsh Corgi, since you ask......
Bill plays with rocks, anything from a marble-size to bigger than a 16 pound bowling ball, his choice which........and, once he has chosen his rock of the hour, I can pitch it into a field full of similar-sized rocks and he will go git it.....never misses, either.
Even tho Bill is getting old, arthritic hips, etc., he still plays vigorously with his rock and seldom tires of playing. He is a Rock Hound! A Rock STAR!
Bill is a great rabbit-hunter, too! When we go out, Bill, being short, sees things I cain't, such as little Thumper Stew Pot, and freezes and stares. This is my clue! I just prepare and, moments later, the rabbit breaks for my shotgun! Bill is safe, even tho he chases the breaking rabbit, because he is just too slow to get anywhere near in the way.
