Ain't Doctors Bummers?
I went to see the Doc last Friday.......as an ACCCCHS Patient, it was recommended that I have a Physical! Guess What? BUMMER!
Tryin' to get Social Security to grant me a Disability, I figured to get some documentation down in ink.....maybe got more that I bargained for, by cracky!
As I was prepped for a routine EKG, which turned out OK by the way, I was told to lie back on the exam table so the aide could stick all the sticky thangs here & there......I had been lying flat on my back for 10-15 seconds when the Aide stopped and ran out of the room! Soon, here come the Doc! She tol' him that, soon's I'd laid down my head turned Purple! I gathered that this ain't all that normal, not all that good......
And! I now have a fancy machine, a Nebulizer, for to give myself "breathing treatments" on an as-needed basis! Well, I had just quit cigarettes 4-5 days earlier so time will tell.....
Finally, though, Doc opened the subject of my last routine blood tests! Seems I have something goin' whack-o in my bone marrow! Blood cell counts, both white & red, are abnormally high! They drew more blood and told me to come back on Feb. 5 to see if I would be getting a referral to a Specialist at the "Cancer Center"!
I been off work for 15 weeks now.......Damn! I gonna be ticked off if I end up bein' one of them what stops working and then keels over dead within 6 months!
And here I done went back to doin' some dumbbell work agin, too, just to try to shape up! I be gonna keep that up though, no matter what, and stay away from cigarettes, too! I DO smoke my pipe but, even though not good, that's 10% of the cigarette harm!
Leastwise I will, mayhaps, have something interesting to write about here in my little blog!

Norm, I am glad you stopped smoking cigarettes, finally, of course it took a liver transplant to get me to stop. Too expensive anyway when not working. Keep up up exercise, you were always in better shape than me anyway. How is breathing going? Take care of yourself, you are loved and we enjoy hearing from you and about you and that wit.
