My Aunt Janet!
A Special Note of Appreciation to my Aunt Janet, down in Mesquite, Texas! Only after receiving her Christmas Card did I larn that she was a Reader of this here Blog! Never would I have guessed!
I ain't seen this lady in so long I cain't even guess! Somewhere in my files I have an old pic of her, maybe 30 years back, all decked out in a 'Fro!
Janet, who I recall, we called "Janette" (last syllable stressed), in the French Manner, ain't all that much older than I, maybe 6 years? She has been a Texan for many years, too! Much warmer than Northern Illinois, I reckon!
I don't believe I have quite hit the 10,000 Readers Mark yet but I am always pleased that Someone reads this tripe! Especially grateful when it is Kin!
So, if you are out there, my Kin, drop me a Line! Put a name I will recognize in the subject line though! Out of need, I DO merely delete any E-Mail I get from strangers!

I love the pictures of the snow! It looks like you got a little more of it than we did and that IS a bummer! Ferget that global warmin business...get out and get warm by throwing snowballs at yer neighbor!
