Good Idea if it be Aimed in the Right Direction!
This thang be goin' 'round the Internet 'bout makin' Welfare "customers" take Tinkle-Tests! I kind of agree with it bt it don't go near far enough!
The idea is that the folks on Welfare gotta take Tinkle-Tests to qualify for Benefits!
OK! Not bad! BUTT! I been spoutin' this since well before the InterNet, before the WorldWideWeb, since before Mr. Gates was out of Pampers!................
I want EVERY Elected Official, Every Politically Appointed Official, Senators, Represenatives, School Board Members, JPs, the WORKS!, to take, and Pass, the same danged Test! These are the folks in whom we entrust the fabric of our existence and
yet we constantly hear hurriedly-hushed-up rumors of their routine abuses!
Seeing as how some of these tales are probably mere slander, it would seem to me that any Honest Politician would jump at the opportunity to prove his or her mental stability, at least as far as concerning substance abuse! it makes NO sense to me at all that we hand over to these folks the reins of our very existance, the strings of our purses, the very Lives of our Citizens.....yet, with illegal drug use having become rampant over the last 40 years, we do NOT conduct drug tests on them.
Now, the first response we can expect, if any at all, is that they are above reproach! They are, after all, our Leaders! BS! WE are the Leaders! THEY are our Minions! WE hire them! And, Yes, we Elect Them! But, in order to gain a fair advantage, it is desperately needed for us to have more knowledge of our "Leaders" personal, private habits! They have access to this information on each and every one of us! Yet They "run" things?
