The Legend of Dave!

My Old Friend, Dave, the "newest" of my Old Friends, my having met him only 16 years back, just hit the BIG 50 Mark! Amazin'! And he still has as much hair as he did the day I met him!
Dave is "old school ADOT", same as I am. I worked with his Dad in the AHD Plans Division back in 1972-76 but he doesn't recall me.....just a kid I was!

Dave came to work in Materials in 1991, a year after I did and, from then to the end of 1998 he and I traveled many thousands of miles together, workin' in high-risk, life-threatening situations much of the time! We had our share of arguments, as men who spend so much time together are wont to do! But, over the years, Dave and I have become 'bout as tight as two men what ain't brothers can be, I reckon!

Dave is a multi-talented techno-geek (Say it with Pride!) who is into planes, trains & automobiles, radio, electronics, photography, guns ad nauseum....... and, yep! He loves women, too! Ye should see the pic I got of him in a hot tub with Eleven Beautiful Models! But this blog sponsor won't let me publish that so you must use yer imaginations!

And Now, Dave (Super-Dave!) has hit Middle-Age! And he Still hits the highway every week to do his duty as an ADOT Technician! And he Still dreams of moving on!

Stay Put, Dave! You stay active, physically & mentally, and you will have many a good year of pursuing your other dreams, after a comfortable ADOT Retirement!
